Sister Martha Perez, the leader of “Perlas y Diamantes” loves spending quality time with her group— whether it’s hosting get-togethers to celebrate birthdays or simply enjoying each other’s company at a restaurant or at someone’s home! Fun shopping activities are also planned at thrift stores or stores such as Ross.
Activities
We also make crafts that our pearls and diamonds know how to make. It is also always a pleasure to teach those who wish to learn!
Special Services
Every year, there is a special date on the calendar set aside for our “pearls and diamonds”— a service dedicated specifically to them. It is an occasion where we honor God first and foremost, but also honor them; a service where we sing hymns and witness the Lord’s faithfulness in the lives of each of our seniors, for the Lord has helped them thus far.
